Business Machines Company was founded in 1958 by two former NCR
employees. Through the past forty years we have grown to over 43 employees with five offices operating
in Lansing, Bridgeport, Livonia, Traverse City and Grand Rapids. We have migrated through mechanical registers, electronic
registers and proprietary point of sale systems to today selling the latest in open systems.
We are customer driven to provide quality products, services and support to all three (POS) Point of
Sale Industries (food and drug, general merchandise and hospitality). Our vision is to implement complete
enterprise solutions utilizing premier industry partners to promote continued success of our customers and
associates. In conjunction with our affiliates we support over 12,000 locations and help provide
direction to our suppliers as well as the industry through our council and board positions.
